Saudi eVisa for Pakistani Pilgrims — how it actually works

Saudi Arabia processes Umrah and tourist eVisas through official electronic channels — the system behind the Nusuk platform. As a Nusuk-partnered operator we submit through the official channel on your behalf: you provide the documents, we verify them, submit, and track the application to issue. Straightforward applications are often approved in as little as 24 hours; timing ultimately sits with the Saudi authorities, and season affects it — which is why we say as little as and not always.

What you will need

The core requirements for pilgrims applying from Pakistan: a passport with generous validity beyond your travel dates (we confirm the current requirement at application — it is set by the authorities and checked per season), a clear passport-style photograph on a light background, CNIC copies, and your travel details. Vaccination requirements are announced season by season by the Saudi Ministry — we confirm the current list with your application rather than publishing rules that may have changed.

Umrah visa or tourist visa — which one?

Both routes can permit Umrah for eligible nationalities; which is right depends on your passport, your itinerary and the season's rules. This is exactly the question our visa team answers daily — send your nationality and travel dates on WhatsApp and you will get a straight answer, including when the cheaper route is genuinely fine. Visa processing is included in every Umrah package; standalone processing is what this page is for.

Saudi visa for UK citizens

British passport holders are eligible for the Saudi tourist eVisa, which permits Umrah outside the Hajj season, and for the dedicated Umrah visa route. For most UK applicants the tourist eVisa is the practical choice: multi-entry, valid for a year, and typically processed quickly. Where UK-resident Pakistani nationals are applying on Pakistani passports the requirements differ from British-passport applications — a distinction that catches out self-applicants regularly and one we handle daily from our UK office. Send us which passport you will travel on and we confirm the correct route before anything is submitted.

Saudi tourist visa requirements

The tourist eVisa asks for a passport with validity beyond your stay (the exact margin is set by the authorities and confirmed at application), a photograph on a light background, your travel details, and payment of the government fee — medical insurance is bundled into the eVisa for most nationalities. The tourist visa permits Umrah outside the Hajj season and travel across the Kingdom, but it does not permit Hajj: Hajj requires the dedicated visa and an official permit (Tasreeh), which we arrange only as part of Hajj packages.

Saudi visa processing times

Straightforward Umrah and tourist eVisas are often approved in 24–48 hours; tourist applications can stretch to 72 hours, and complex cases — prior refusals, name mismatches, unusual travel histories — take longer. Peak periods matter: the weeks before and during Ramadan and the run-up to Hajj slow everything down, so apply early if your dates fall in those windows. Processing time is decided by the Saudi authorities, not by any agent; what we control is submitting a clean, verified application the first time and chasing the ones that stall.

Saudi visa fees

Our current per-person processing fees, as configured today: Umrah visa Rs 45,000, Saudi tourist visa Rs 53,000, transit visa Rs 28,000, and Hajj visa Rs 67,000 (Hajj visas are processed with an official permit as part of a package). These figures come from the same settings our booking system uses, so what you read here is what you pay — no surprise charges at document stage. The fee covers verification, submission, tracking and the chase if anything stalls.

Nusuk registration, explained

Nusuk is Saudi Arabia's official pilgrim platform — permits for prayer in the Rawdah, Umrah bookings and, increasingly, the systems behind visa issuance run through it. Pilgrims travelling with us do not need to wrestle with the portal: we submit through the official channel on your behalf and help you set up the app for the permits you will use on the ground. Our Nusuk app guide walks through registration step by step if you want to understand what happens under the hood.

Saudi entry rules worth knowing

Carry your eVisa PDF (printed or on your phone) — you will be asked for it at check-in and on arrival. Vaccination requirements are announced season by season by the Saudi Ministry of Health, with Meningitis ACWY the long-standing requirement for pilgrims; we confirm the current list with every application. Names on tickets, visa and passport must match exactly — the single most common self-application error we fix. Entry rules can change between booking and travel, which is why our team re-checks requirements close to departure for every traveller.

Planning the rest of your journey

A visa is one piece. Most pilgrims applying here go on to book flights to Jeddah or Madinah, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and airport and Ziyarat transfers — and the advantage of one team holding all of it is that your visa dates, flight dates and hotel nights are checked against each other before anything is paid. If you would rather have the whole journey handled, every Umrah package includes the eVisa, and Hajj 2027 packages include the permit and visa as standard.

Visa Questions, Answered Honestly

How long does a Saudi eVisa take?

Straightforward applications are often approved in as little as 24 hours; complex cases and peak seasons take longer. Timing is decided by the Saudi authorities — we verify, submit cleanly and track, which is the part that prevents delays.

What documents do I need?

A valid passport (with validity comfortably beyond travel — the exact requirement is confirmed at application), a passport-style photo on a light background, ID copies, and travel details. We send the precise checklist for your case on WhatsApp before anything is submitted.

What are the vaccination requirements?

They are set season by season by the Saudi Ministry of Health. We confirm the current list with your application — treat any website quoting fixed permanent rules with caution, including ours if this page were ever left stale.

Can children be included?

Yes — children apply alongside their family with their own documents. Tell us ages when applying and the checklist adjusts.

Can women apply and travel without a mahram?

Current Saudi policy permits women to perform Umrah without a mahram, commonly in group company — rules are set by the authorities and confirmed current at booking. Our departures include female guides as standard.

What happens if my application is rejected?

We tell you the stated reason, fix what is fixable, and resubmit where the case allows — that chase is included in the service. Where rejection results from applicant error or incomplete documents the processing fee is non-refundable, which is exactly why we check everything before submission. No one can guarantee approvals, and any operator claiming a guaranteed visa is claiming what only the authorities control.

Is the visa included in Umrah packages?

Yes — every Farazm package includes eVisa processing. This page serves travellers who need the visa alone or ahead of choosing a package.

Do you process visas for Pakistani nationals?

Yes. We process visas for Pakistani nationals applying from Pakistan, the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and the UAE, and handle the document requirements specific to each route daily.

Is the Saudi eVisa the same as a sticker visa?

Saudi Arabia issues electronic visas for most nationalities — you receive a PDF by email to print or save on your phone. No physical sticker is placed in the passport for standard eVisas.

Can family members share one application?

Each traveller needs their own application, but we process family applications together and coordinate them so approvals arrive as a set. Tell us the group size when applying.

How do I check my application status?

Use the Track Your Visa Application box on this page with your reference — it reads live from our processing system — or message the visa team on WhatsApp any time.
