Nusuk is Saudi Arabia’s official platform for pilgrims — and if you remember one thing from this guide, make it this: the visit to the Rawdah in Madinah requires a permit booked through it. Here is what the platform does, what your operator does through it for you, and what stays on your own phone.
An official Saudi government platform (site and app) consolidating pilgrim services: Umrah eVisas, permits for specific acts of worship, and a growing set of booking and planning services. It is the system your visa is processed through when you book with a Nusuk-partnered operator — which is what the “Nusuk” badge on our site means: we process Saudi eVisas through the official channel, typically within days.
Praying in the Rawdah ash-Sharifah — the area in Masjid an-Nabawi between the Prophet’s ﷺ house and minbar — is managed by timed permits booked through Nusuk, with separate arrangements for men’s and women’s visiting times. Availability is limited and slots are released on the platform’s schedule, so: create your account early, and book the slot as soon as your Madinah dates are fixed. Our guides help groups with exactly this — but the permit is issued to you, on your app, which is why the account must be yours.
Do I need Nusuk for the Tawaf or the Haram in Makkah?
General prayer and Umrah in Masjid al-Haram do not require a personal permit in the way the Rawdah does — requirements are season-set, and your pre-departure briefing covers the current position.
Can my operator book the Rawdah permit for me?
Permits are personal on the platform; our guides walk pilgrims through booking their own — usually a two-minute job once the account exists. Elderly pilgrims travelling with family: set up the parent’s account together before departure.
Is the eVisa on Nusuk the same as the one Farazm processes?
Yes — same official channel. Booking through a partnered operator means we run the process and chase the problems; the “visa included” line on our packages is this service.
